Hasn't had a chance?
He's only been hounded by the media since he announced. That leaves only three possible conclusions:
1) He doesn't know what his policy will be. Sorry, that only leads to political windsocks who do what polls tell them or tools of their advisors. Both of those are not something I'm looking for in a candidate.
2) He doesn't want to tell us what his policy will be. Coupled with his already demonstrated liberal beliefs on social issues, this is a HUGE RED FLAG.
3) He doesn't care that he doesn't have any policies, and this election is just a huge ego trip for him. Screw that.

(TOM McCLINTOCK is my choice for governor. He should be yours too.)

President Bush more or less endorsed Schwarzenegger, and that's good enough for me.

That leaves only three possible conclusionsThere is a fourth, which is that he has enough sense to to avoid shooting from the lip and instead carefully formulate his positions based on advice from experts which he is free to accept or discard.
Your criticism is not valid considering he has been a canidate for about 2 weeks.
If you are a McClintock cool aid drinker fine, but don't speculate about A.S's positions until he comes out with them.

3) He doesn't care that he doesn't have any policies, and this election is just a huge ego trip for himIt seems possible that Arnold may drop out before the election. I wonder what he'd do if Bustedmental leads him in real polls.
If you look at the numbers, no one from the GOP will win as long as there are three (four if you count Uberoth) Republican candidates. Having Bustedmental win #2 will be a big blow to the Republican party. Makes me wish I had never supported the whole recall idea at all.
But now, it's too late to back out. Grayout must be forced out and Bustamente must not be allowed to win. What this will mean for the three GOP candidates is only my guess. I hope Simon and Uberoth will drop out.
Too bad Chris Cox isn't in this, but then again, he saw the danger ahead of time.
