Well if that is the case, at LEAST let them campaign for a few more weeks before all this "rallying" talk. My goodness, what is the rush? This state isn't a majority GOP, but that is because the independents are so angry the GOP is Left.
Look at our recent Props that passed, without any candidate (like a RINO) that they would have to take at their word, just voting on LAW;
1994 - Proposition #184: Three-strikes, life imprisonment for repeat felons.
1994 - Proposition #187: Cut off state funds for Illegal Aliens.
1996 - Proposition #209: Ended statewide Affirmative Action
1998 - Proposition #227: Ended bilingual education
2000 - Proposition #22: Defined marriage as one man - one woman.
These things aren't even MODERATE-RIGHT. They are completely RIGHT.
Pete Wilson, incedentally signed the largest tax increase in state history with no party to oppose him. It needlessly prolonged our recession and ironically brought in less tax $ than before the raise because it hurt economic growth. Any conservative understands this.
Ironically most of the Wilson team represents "the right wing" of the Shriver cabinet, and now we've come full circle.
