The immigration issue is also a defineing issue. I live in California, and the new immigrants have driven the state to the left, not the right, and it is a pipe dream to think that a majority of the immigrants and their children will not be liberals, prehaps a decent sized number will be conservatives and not locked into voting Democrat compared to blacks, but still it is a net loss. Also the run away illegal and even legal immigration is alsoa tool used by big business and the well off to depress wages, somthing that harms far more Americans than it helps. Black Elk, I know that on paper that most immigrants are Catholic, but the brutal, stinging truth is that a large majority of them are secular, and in Mexico and other countries, they grew up secularised.

The way I see it, the Paleos you name are a fringe group, the people who are lumped into the Paleo-Conservatives here on FR are mainstream Americans concerned their culture is being rotted by both big govrenmnet and big business and the educational instituions pushing multi culturalism.

As for Europe, sadly their conservative, some would say traditional movment, a movment that many say was gaining momentum in the 30s, was destroyed because so many of them unwittingly sided with the NAZIs because the NAZIs were anti-communist. This destroyed the credibility that European Conservatism had and pushed Europe into full on Secular Humanism. I see the pro globalist, pro corporate, pro unrestricted immigration neo-conservatives as rotten mix of secular humanistic idealism mixed in with social darwinism.

You do now that a Caucasian California is no longer possible in the long germ and that the way to deal with problems brought here by Mexicans britalized by 75 years of communist thuggery is to restore their faith, recruit them to conservative Protestant faiths, keep them outof public schools by private philanthropy for quality education and adapting to their presence as yiou would have them adapt? Otherwise, what is your plan for a continued Caucasian paradise style California. I am not being mean here. I keep asking this question on all immigration threads and NEVER does any anti-immigration person ever give an answer much less a constitutional one. Note that I am not summoning the cavalry.
