Your accross the board bashing of Christianity as being all things antithetical to Science is of course more than just an exageration. Its either a lie if you know history, the result of ignorance or propoganda if you do not.
As to the Greeks, yes they are smart people who put together the first direct democracy. However, they recognised it couldn't survive and it needed to be molded with representative gov't -a concept derivied from and worked out according to biblical principles prior to the US being formed. But yes, those smart Greeks were the first major nation to appreciate and adopt Christianity. Funny how in your world view you look to the Greeks as the keepers of science and wisdom yet fault the same people for adopting Christianity ?
