Is there a difference between not raising taxes and having no new taxes?

I think you have nailed it.

We could save tons of money simply rolling back the 40,000 people Davis has hired over the last couple years...

Yeah, it would be nice for Arnold to come forward and pledge to roll back the size of state government to what it was four years ago, less inflation. That alone would solve most of the budget crisis, as it would in most state governments.

I have found that most of those who have said Arnold isn't really a Republican aren't Republicans themselves.

If you want Bustamante to win, then you are a DEMOCRAT.

Then McClintock would get his 22% of the vote and be the front-runner.

McClintock would have 17% right now if lame-ass Bill Simon dropped out...

So your saying on of McClintocks campaign promises is to cut education. That sounds like a winner in liberal california.

It's Arnold or Cruz -- you choose!

It's liberal, almost as liberal, or conservative - why do you leave the last choice out?

The ONLY thing I want to hear out of Arnold's mouth is "NO NEW OR INCREASED TAXES!"

If he hedges, he's toast.

He's also chosen Schuster, but noone praises that. The short-sighted McClintock nuts are just looking for anything to hang Arnold with.

I think most of them are actually working for the Bustamante campaign.

Quit slandering your fellow conservatives who are simply unwilling to elect a "social liberal" who is pro-abortion and pro-gay rights (anti-family).

No, but taking education off the table means that Arnold is not serious about cutting the budget enough to get it anywhere near to being balanced.

Bustamante vs one Republican = two opposing forces

Bustamante vs two or three Republicans = one coalition to elect Cruz

If you don't compromise and keep sticking to a losing formula you'll just keep on LOSING!!!!

Don't you get?! The socialist state of California is a little gun shy when it comes to conservative Republicans. The whole state is infested with childish liberals. You have to wheen them off their unreasonable fears. Shwarzenagger is a great oppurtunity to introduce the seeds of conservetism to this deprived state. It maybe a small seed but it the only way such idealism can growing in the arid political climate of California.

But go ahead, keep being stubborn and keep losing.

Cruz would be worse than Davis. Let him win... He'll be out by 2006 and we can elect a real Republican.
