Randy Pullen raised the profile of immigration issues in the race for Phoenix mayor Monday with a fund-raiser featuring a U.S. congressman who is an outspoken critic of immigration policies.

{Pullen also said he would lend the support of the mayor's office to a push to seal the nation's borders, as well as ports of entries such as New York City and Los Angeles. Such moves would cut illegal immigration and crime.}
America needs more politicans like Randy Pullen. I'm glad there's at least one politician who understands the negative impact of illegal immigration.

Is Pullen polling well in Pheonix?
Maybe he should run for Governor if Napolitano is recalled - it would be awesome to have a strong anti-illegal immigrant governor in the Southwest.

I don't have any polling data on the Phoenix Mayor race. But this Mayor race could serve as a bellwether for the Prop. 187 referendum that will be on the AZ ballot next year.
