Glad you liked it. My evil brother actually came up with that one. I thought it was pretty useful thing to remember for future possible urban combat necessities. I've seen interesting ideas as well utilizing wire to take down non-fixed wing aircraft.

Does that say "BRUT Force" ? Isn't Brut the after shave that Joe Namath used to pitch?

If you outlaw spud guns, only frogs will have them. Or something like that.
This seems to be more of a crude rocket launcher than a gun though. I am glad I am not a kid anymore. I could get into alot of trouble with one of these.

Another blinded an eye of a Pennsylvania house painter. As opposed to blinding his shin?

Too bad that he lost his eyes.
If it had hit him in his gonads we would be rid of his stupidity genes. (Yes, I really mean it.)

Is that one of those .50 caliber sniper spudguns?
Is that guy trying to kill himself? I've seen ones planted on the ground that can be operated fairly safely. But putting the "ignition chamber" that close to your head isn't so bright. Granted, that's what we do with guns, but Remington didn't make that spud gun.

Granted, that's what we do with guns, but Remington didn't make that spud gun. I was thinking the same thing. PVC gets stress cracks and will eventually rupture. Some of the smarter spudgun engineers will wrap a layer of heavy steel screen (hardware cloth?) around the combustion chamber, covered with a segment of pants leg cut from an old pair of blue jeans (or OD green fatigues, for that camoflage look). It won't prevent the plastic from failing, but it'll retain the fragments. A thick layer of duct tape might help, too - the result would be something like auto safety glass... shattering but not scattering.
