What you obviously don't understand is that the 42 BILLION DOLLARS EFFECTS THE WHOLE STATE OF CALIFORNIA...from the families who are paying three times what they paid last year to the businesses who have left because of the high cost of electricity hence a loss of jobs hence a loss of state revenue from income, taxes sales taxes, fees et al, a loss of business taxes paid to the state and the overall health of the state economy! Now either you are too blind to see that or you're too thick to understand!!! But let's not be coy here and don't insult my intelligence with these problems you refuse to accept. LOL

So this is a way for the State to get MORE tax money... NOT a way for the state to cut it's budget....
