little news trickles out of the Peoples Paradise. what news there is, shows a general crackdown on the Workers Party, but by and large the people are hopeless and beginning to think, 'what the hell'. many are risking crossing into China now or down through China into Thailand through Laos, etc. it is a reply of Eastern Europe, when Austria said they would allow East Germans to transit through their land to West Germany if they could make it through Hungary....which eventually is what happened. then, the regime fell. the real beauty in all of this will be (hopefully) to bring down the Korean Workers Party and Kim Jong il in Pyongyang without a shot. one can only hope (and work) toward that end!

I don't think this regime will go quietly...the danger is that a barrage of Seoul is ordered..you'd need an awful lot of troops to disobey orders...more plausible is that someone close to KJI decides to take him out, then makes himself the head guy..tries to negotiate witht he US
