Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., said illegal immigration is no longer just the domain of the federal government.

Phoenix has a nonpartisan mayoral election. It will be somewhat interesting to see if a conservative candidate can get Democrat support regarding the issue of immigration control. Pat Buchanan tried to use immigration as an issue in AZ in 1996 but lost the primary to Steve Forbes.

Chandler also adopted a Phoenix policy that prohibits police from stopping people for the sole purpose of determining immigration status and bars them from arresting a person when the only violation is an infraction of a federal immigration law. As an Arizona resident since 1975 I have seen firsthand the results of our policies towards illegals. Every year it gets harder and harder for law enforcement officers to enforce the laws.
Perhaps someone with a better understanding of liberals can explain to me why we have to pamper and cater to the illegals at the expense of the tax paying, voting citizen.

I like this Pullen, can he win? Any polling data? [not that I particularly trust most polls]
