Well, it's interesting that we do have a statement in the Bible that "God is [equivalency-verb] love." There is no analogous statement that "God is [equivalency-verb] glory." Could God be telling us that His love is even more important (towards us) than His glory? Which would meet the need of sinners who, until saved, can't do anything to glorify God at all.
