I agree with you, but all I have to say is that if Bustamante gets it, talk about a dreadful embarassment. Republicans-conservatives can twist it any way they want and say that it's better for Bustamante to get in than Arnold (which I'm sure they're sincere about and could be right, too), but everyone else will think it's nothing but audacious, face-saving spinning. Like this recall would ever have been started if we wanted to get Davis' dreadful underling in control? Right.

And let us not fool ourselves into thinking that Bustamante will be so horrible he'll be kicked out in a couple years and a conservative will be elected in his place. Does one really think liberal Californians (with the help of inept republicans) will vote that way? I'll believe it when it happens; until then just seems like wishful thinking.

Explain to me IN WHAT WAY that Schwarzeneggar is Republican? I keep asking Arnold supporters to do that and they cannot.

I think a conservative candidate has zero chance to win this election and that things are looking better for Bustamente every day.
