She's probably correct in this. Just goes to show that nice intentions mean little when the other guy's willing to die to get you killed.

It always amazes me that some folks are always willing to believe that a nice demonstration of trust on their part will somehow convince the bad guys to suddenly play nice.

Actually that doesn't help their spin .. it makes it sound like the UN knew and yet didn't nothing to protect themselves from an attack like today.
