How amazing! Non-minorities can manage the punch card machines, but minorities can't! Thank God for the ACLU - who else would fight for those poor, disenfranchised minorities who can't figure out how to punch a chad?

Exactly. This is one time I agreed with Justice O'Connor: she asked rhetorically, during oral arguments in Bush v. Gore, why for heaven's sake couldn't the rule simply be, Disqualify ALL non-detached-chad ballots, because those voters didn't follow the clear instructions that require not only a full through-punching but also assuring that the chad is detached!

Also, how about all these State run LOTTO's? I take it that the minorities are also too stupid to punch (or mark) all those complicated lotto cards.

Me thinks the ACLU should sue so that the minorities can get their fair share of LOTTO's!
