Oh, there are tons of white angels (my favorite has to be a very young and extremely hot Jessica Lange as the Angel of Death in "All That Jazz") but how many white angels enlighten black characters? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

... "The Family Man" is going to become a perennial Christmas favorite as the years go by....I kinda like my wonder and magic a little closer to real life, like when an apparently self-absorbed and distracted father nevetheless zones in on his son's fervent wishes for a BB-gun for Christmas and buys him "the greatest gift I had ever had nor would I ever receive" in spite of warnings from all over that "you'll shoot your eye out, kid"...

A Christmas Story gets my vote for modern-day classic.....

Oh wait, I thought you meant "Family Guy."

Come to think of it, I don't think that Wilson would have worked as a soccer ball....

I'm a huge movie fan - I have so many faves! Probably my #1 of all time is 'Casablanca'

I would buy into the "A Christmas Story" thing, if TBS/TNT didn't show the darn thing 400 times between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I would buy into the "A Christmas Story" thing, if TBS/TNT didn't show the darn thing 400 times between Thanksgiving and Christmas...too true - I've even seen it shown occasionally as part of the new craze - "Christmas in July" - just to get us in the (shopping) mood early, apparently - still, it seems to capture the holiday feeling better than any other film for me.......

Another movie featuring a "magical negro" (Don Chedle).
Liked the movie, even though it featured the disgusting Tea Leoni.
