As I said, you did raise a valid point.
However, the unlikelihood that the vast majority of what you initially implied were unsupported "opinions" would turn out to have a predictive hit-rate that would make Nostradamus green with envy leads me to believe that A) communists have indeed heavily influenced our culture, and B) Skouzer was right on about their plans. The notion that he was significantly wrong about them, but significantly wrong in precisely such a way as to almost exactly mimic the current Democrat Party platform of 50 years later, is a bit too improbable IMHO to take seriously.
Qwinn
It would be interesting to see a boxed set of episodes of "I Led Three Lives" about the double agent (US working for the KGB in America) released in the current political atmosphere.
People would wake up to just who the ACLU, MoveOn.org, and other serve.
They are Stalin's useful idiots and he's laughing from the grave.
So are you saying that because so many of his predictions have come to pass that it can't possibly be true? The fact that John Kerry almost won the election tells me the communist have succeeded beyond their wildest imaginations. What bothers me is the last election where the democrats ran a left-wing communist repackaged as a patriotic war hero and he received 49% of the votes. If the 2004 election were held back in the 50s and early 60s a candidate like Kerry would have received maybe 10% of the votes. We might not be up against the same old enemy but there are still groups out there working for the destruction of the US as we know it.
