California can be a great state again.

Expel 5 million Mexican invaders, change the law so that children born here don't automatically become citizens, open up the coast to offshore drilling, and vote for only conservative Republicans.

Well, just expelling illegals, making the State business-friendly, getting some good fiscal management (primarily, cutting spending),and having a conservative legislature will do it.

Sadly, I doubt it. It's simply too far gone. Who would change it? The liberals were voted in by liberals who dominate voter rolls. They chased off conservative businesses and a lot of hard-working, productive people. Those productive people are tired of being screwed by idiots who think there is a free lunch. They ain't coming back.

They don't have to change the law. All they have to do is interpret the 14th Amendment as it was intended. This is the first interpretation of the 14th Amendment on record.

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

The first observation we have to make on this clause is that it puts at rest both the questions which we stated to have been the subject of differences of opinion. It declares that persons may be citizens of the United States without regard to their citizenship of a particular State, and it overturns the Dred Scott decision by making all persons born within the United States and subject to its jurisdiction citizens of the United States. That its main purpose was to establish the citizenship of the negro can admit of no doubt. The phrase, "subject to its jurisdiction" was intended to exclude from its operation children of ministers, consuls, and citizens or subjects of foreign States born within the United States.

First things first.

You will never get the demoralized, but sensible, rank-and-file voters of California out to support your eminently sensible program until the voter rolls are cleaned and you can promise an (reasonably) honest elecion. End motor voter and start checking ID's at the polls. The first is Federal, but the CA DMV is a corrupt hispanic hellhole. The second is completely within the state's powers.

Fraud Slut Parra's big butt is still in her legislative seat, is it not? Until she is removed and punished for the 900 totally fraudulent votes which gave her a mere 256 vote plurality, why would anyone in that district trust the process?
