Cruz Bustamante. The Bad Lieutenant Governor can forget the African-American vote, period. He hasnt recovered from his 2001 slip about niggers (made during an address to black trade unionists!), and one can only imagine what gaffes will occur whenever he tries to pronounce Schwarzenegger.

Mother Jones, a leftist magazine, covered this in 2001. You can read the article
here.

I only just read it, buried in this week's L.A. Weekly. Hopefully, talk radio will pick it up, and run with it.

Thanks for the Mother Jones link. Bustamante is leading to replace Davis. This info needs to be spread.

Maybe he'll 'bust a move'

Thanks for the Mother Jones link. Bustamante is leading to replace Davis. This info needs to be spread. Given his ties to The Council of 'The Race' (La Raza) and MeCHA, it will be quite easy to demonstrate that Bustamante is racist scum. However, no Republican is going to have the guts to bring this up.

No Republican politico. But talk radio and the internet blogs can and will.

Why should we use the same slanderous tactics as the Dems? Who really cares if the guy slipped up and said N?

If no Republican candidate will have the guts to bring up Bustamante's use of the "N" word, etc., as you say, then WE, the actual citizens, will have to spread this around ourselves!!!

Any liberal who votes for Bustamove is a hypocritical racist. They don't want a conservative, christian male (especially a white one), but they
will vote for a fat, ugly, racist Mexican with an IQ of about 95 (on a good day when he remembers to take his vitamins).

The reason no good Pubbie would bring this up is more about not wanting to foment division amongst the populace and less about not havin' the 'balls' to do it. We have enough democrat fomented hate-speech without adding to it.

"hard-left elitists fear that a celebrity-dazzled public can no longer distinguish between fantasy and reality TV..."BALONEY! Hard-left elitists hope that the public will never learn to distinguish between fantasy and reality. If California voters could recognize reality they would obviously reject the decadent, self-destuctive fantasy of "Liberalism" and repudite the hard-left elitists who peddle this snake-oil.
In fact, the basic problem California now faces is the inability of the majority of the voters to distinghish between fantasy and reality. The hard-left elitists know that if the public ever learns to do this, the leftists/socialists/Democrats will be thrown out of office! This is the hard-left elitists' greatest fear--and for good reason!
...that our embrace of Arnold only confirms national perceptions of California as a minimum-security insane asylum.
The "embrace of Arnold" has nothing to do with it.
"its hard to imagine an Earl Warren or Pat Brown having been recalled and replaced by, say, Johnny Weissmuller."
Oh, I don't know. I think Tarzan would have been a good governor.

And Cheetah would have made a much better Supreme Court Justice than Earl Warren.

"And Cheetah would have made a much better Supreme Court Justice than Earl Warren."And a more intelligent voter than the jackasses who have voted Democrats into office and have brought California to the present crisis. I say disenfranchise all registered Democrats (as mentally incompetent) and give the chimpanzees the vote!
