A "Protestant Priest" ??? No Protestant denomination has clergy called "priests."

Episcopal/Anglican are considered protestant and yet have priests.

The reason for this has to do with the history of the reformation. Most of the protestant church "protested" the doctrines of the catholic church, including the priesthood.

The Anglican church protested the politics of the catholic church, King Henry VIII separating from Rome over his desire to divorce - essentially a power struggle. Prior to this, Henry had written a treatise denouncing Martin Luther's Reformist ideals, for which the pope awarded Henry the title "Defender of the Faith".
