Peace loving Muslims, of course, the ones who define Jihad as a "personal struggle."

The next thing they have to do is find the rich Saudis who are sending the money to the terrorists and make sure they are no longer rich Saudis. When this starts to happen, I'm going to believe that they are actually doing something.

I think you are right. But it does seem that something is afoot, that the old deal whereby the Saudis buy off the extremists who practice their terrorism only outside the Kingdom is breaking down. Whether it is because the royal family has changed course or because the Al Quaida has reneged, leaving the royal family no choice, I cannot say.
Did Bush clandestinely incite it? Do the Saudis now realize that it is only a matter of time that the world's second largest proven oil reserves will come on line in amounts that can affect the price of oil sgnificantly? If the price falls below about $20 to $25, the Kindgom goes bankrupt. Have we told the Saudis that they have only a limited time to stop funding the wahabbi (sp) organizations around the world or we open the spicots?
I have always thought this was one of the war aims in Iraq and so posted. In this sense the war was "about oil" - and well it should have been.
