Unless those workers are working off the books, they must be citizens or have a green card. Here in Los Angeles, hospital emergency rooms are being closed due to overcrowding. Instead of opening more, we are closing them down. This is caused by the huge population of illegal aliens. Do you factor that in to your calculations?

Why are your hospitals providing ongoing (non-emergency) services to illegals at taxpayer expense? That's the issue. Attack that issue, and all the other welfare entitlement abuse of our citizen taxpayers by just arrived non-resident aliens, and you're on your way to stemming the flood of illegals into this nation. That's not a George W. Bush prerogative. That's legislation, and Court battles. It requires a full understanding of the authority under which our public services are being embezzled, and a political and legal response.
