No running away at all:
WE LIVE IN A POLICE STATE.
Is it NOT a police state when the police can check on any financial transaction at will?
Is it NOT a police state when police can check any e-mail or phone call charge record at will?
Is it NOT a police state when police can call up a record of all your assets at will?
Is it NOT a police state when posession of currency in amounts larger than a couple thousand dollars is consered suspicious and the currency can be summarily confiscated?

WE LIVE IN A POLICE STATE. You are a fool.
If you think the things you listed, taken for the sake of argument as accurate, are the type of things that define a police state, you REALLY need to talk with people who live or have lived in a real one.
