And if he did it, there would be a good case for Self-Defense. The Dims are killing the Nation...

I love it!

Human Relations Commission = left wing nuts. The HRC can kiss my grits. (Is that a threat?)

Just imagine if "THEY" were able to read and disseminate all of our email messages? BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU AND ME!

Everyone should realize this was a joke. Everybody knows that conservatives are to smart to really do something like that.It wouldnt be worth the risk of serving time for getting rid of trash.

"True conservatives" being unfairly maligned again.

Not to mention "vilified".

I repeat - Jerry Duncan demonstrated along side Jim Robinson HIMSELF at the corner of Shaw & Blackstone to show his support for the President and the war effort. On the other corner were the "peace Fresno" creeps.

This is ALL about nothing but the liberal left-wing nuts in Fresno (that includes the media) going after a conservative Republican. Period.

The Fresno Bee is famous for supporting liberals and doing their best to "get" conservative Republicans. We have seen it time and time again. Nothing new here.

Just hoping the Republicans will circle the wagons around Duncan instead of forming a circular firing squad.

LOL! You noticed that too? Anytime a conservative is involved in anything controversial the Bee has barrels of ink to cover it. In their Saturday editorial they take Duncan and Calhous to task. Of course they write that others also misbehave, but they don't mention their names. It is typical leftist crap!

Is there something in the water in Fresno that makes public officials preserve stupid remarks in a computer system so all can see, rather than just whispering in each other's ears during a council meeting so they'd have a deniability factor?

I hope Duncan's constituents will flood his office with phones and faxes in support of him. I wish they would also flood the phones and faxes of the HRC with negative critical comments about their miserable actions and statements.

Double standard?

"Double standard" is what the libs used in the eighties. Now they are using "quintuple lutz thrice twisted and wrapped around the axle standard".

I am laughing. You guys are killing me. Maybe it's because Jim Robinson HIMSELF lives in Fresno.

I have been insulted by better people than you. I was hoping we could focus on the subject at hand, namely, Jerry Duncan being vilified and attacked by the liberals. Sheeeesh

Anyone in a political position and the guy is a City Council member should know better than to make really stupid statements like wishing physical harm to others -- and apparently it wasn't even just a stupid comment made in a private living room, but he actually put it in an e-mail.

Major lapse of judgment.

These days people get hounded out of office for much less (just think of Trent Lott) and he should have known better.

Making physical threats in the post 9-11 world is taken much more seriously and it's hard to pass it off, as a joke.

By his stupid mistake he gave ammunition to the liberals.

"...made the e-mails public after The Bee submitted a public records request to learn what council members were writing during..."

It reads to me like The Bee was tipped off from someone who had seen the email. They obviously have enemies on the Counsel.
