Florida's favorable tax climate just keeps paying off. It's amazing so many other states can't (or choose not to) figure it out.

BTW, caltrop, I can not help but chuckle when I think back to Dem FL gov candidate Bill McBride's "challenge" to voters during one of the FL gov debates, when he said something like this:
"OK, if you think you're doing well with Gov Bush, then don't vote for me."
(Well, Bill, the majority of voters concluded they were doing just fine with Gov Bush in office.)

What we have is in your face evidence that conservative low-tax, restrained regulatory, pro-business governance beats the crap out of pandering, class warfare, pro-union liberal governance a la California, every time it's tried.
I might add that the people who benefit most from conservative governance are precisely those that the Democrats claim to be helping with their big government programs.

Florida's favorable tax climate just keeps paying offI think that maybe the reason that the jobless rate dropped was because of the number of Floridians that emmigrated overseas to work. I've run into plenty. Better than bussing tables or running an amusement park ride.
