The Hollywood Ten were communists. Communists murdered tens of millions of Christians. To this day, the Hollywood Ten are heros in Tinseltown. Ergo the Pope and other Christian leaders should be able to change the script of every Hollywood movie lest it incite communists to kill Christians. That is the logic here.

Remember the Oscars several years back when the big controversy was an honory Oscar to Elia Kazan who had "named names" at the HCUA hearings? He was the director of the "On The Waterfront" which was a parable of his experiences fighting Communists in Hollywood. I still can't watch either Ed Harris or Nick Nolte (both of whom sat on their hands when he recieved his honory Oscar) without wincing. Kathy Bates(From "Misery"- stood up, almost alone, and cheered and clapped for him. That was brave.

As for the "hollywood ten"- they all went back to work and had thriving careers living off the legend of "McCarthyism" while those who were brave and stood with their country never worked again in Hollywood.
