Thanks for the heads up!

IMHO, Hillery would incite civil war if she thought she could work it to her advantage. There is nothing mor important to her than power and her words, yesterday, prove my point.

You are getting too wound up over what you think King said there. Not wound up in the least. Just accustomed to Peter King's antics from defending X42 during impeachment; campaigning for McCain but quickly changing his tune when he realized Bush would be the nominee and his poor support for Lazio (also a congressman from Long Island) when he ran against hillary. He's a fence sitter and always aims to please both sides. In short, he cannot be trusted.

yeah because those people don't know anything about doing something for someone out of the goodness of your heart. They only know "Gimmme, gimmme, gimmme"

Ah.... But where were the Clintons years ago, and why didn't THEY upgrade the grid?
To: DTwistedSisterS
Even more towards your point-Hellary is a NEW YORK senator from the state the suffered the most lives in that horrific 9/11 attack.
Why hasn't SHE taken it upon herself, as one of the two senators from that state to ENSURE that the electricity grids were updated?
She is FAR MORE accountable for this blackout (she and chuckie and all of the congresscritters from NY) than any administrator in DC.
This is nothing more than jumping the gun, getting the first strike in to score political points, giving the press juicy quotes and promoting herself WHILE deflecting the responsibility she obviously ignored.
Typical clintonian ducking of accountability.
SHE OWES NEW YORKERS AN APOLOGY.
And she needs to get her fat butt to work.

the Washington Post ran an article today that said that the Senate Democrats (Hillary) were responsible for the delay in the passage of the energy bill Do you have a link for that? I was looking, but couldn't find it.

She's a shameless grandstanding opportunist.
Just like every other politician on this continent.

Hillary Clinton is an idiot, and as such should be treated with distane. I can't for life of me figure out how New York elected such a mental dwarf. It must have been mass hypnosis or something. Don't bother with what proceeds from her pie hole.

Here is a link to the thread, but unfortunately the article has been pulled from the Washington Post web-site. There is a Reuter's version on the thread, but it's the same as the July 31 article that replaced the Aug 14, article. The July article makes no mention of the fact that Democrats will probably continue to hold out for environmental concerns because the people have lost interest in energy issues.
Here'sthe link to the thread. As you will see the hot link is to the main page, not the article, but article was under the Congress section.

Peter seems to have gotten a little closer to being on the right side this past year.
Good for him going after $inator Hildebea$t's and her vile mouth on this event!

I must disagree. His condemnation of her comments went a step further in that line, saying that
even if she had been right she
still had no business making them. That's not straddling the fence.
I understand why you would be suspicious of anything this guy says, given his past behavior, but I think this time he has actually gotten it right.
