We're a long way from unifying the major moral systems of earth, but it seems like the Islamicists are closest to the UN ideal except for America itself. And America isn't there, yet, either. I think you need to decide whether we are or are not the world's policeman. I do not know you or your background but I am interested in discussion.

You seem to have trouble with our concept of "national interest". I am not saying that it is correct but I can tell you this much. Islam and Christianity have a very troubled past. We also have this concept of "Do unto other!" Are you willing to have your brothers and sisters placed in harm's way to protect people that believe differently but tend to turn on you as soon as they no longer feel oppressed...Or better yet, are you willing to put yourself in harm's way.

If you want to talk, let's talk. If you want to hit and run, then you will understand why we fire at you the next time you approach. We have had many discussion with people who talk about the differences but we never seem to get very far before it descends into name calling.

If you want to vent a little, I respect your right to do so.
