"A fresh voice, combined with intelligence and fresh ideas, is exactly what the doctors have ordered for the fiscal crisis facing us in Sacramento," Lewis said in a statement. "Arnold Schwarzenegger absolutely fits the bill -- a non-politician who understands that the government needs to run a lot more like a business than the traditional political approach."
Sounds like an endorsement of Hitler, almost... imo :-\
What's that tell ya about the state of "conservativism" in the elected ranks?
And Arnie has , as yet, to reveal his agenda... but adding "Higher Taxes" Buffett isn't a good sign.
Do the words "globalist elite" mean anything to anyone?
FRom yesterday's pile of manure being fed to the masses by the media machines...
Here's to the rebirth of the Republican party in California. Once again it will be cool to vote Republican...
The fact that the Austrian-born actor's views are largely unknown, however, doesn't seem to be a problem for Republican House members from the state who, one by one, are lining up behind Schwarzenegger week-old campaign.
Arnold is all you hear about," said Rep. Wally Herger, R-Marysville. "He's the total show. People are excited."
Guess we can't point fingers at the liberals anymore and accuse them of making decisions based on emotion.
Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham, R-Del Mar, is a conservative and a decorated Vietnam War hero who also has endorsed Schwarzenegger, but for different reasons.
"Arnold grew up in a socialist country, and that's what California, in my view, is slowly becoming," Cunningham said in an interview. "He knows there's only two places socialism works -- an ant hill and a beehive."
Arnold not only made the decision to escape socialism, he has embraced its opposition since coming here. Pretty savvy thinking, to me. But WAIT!! The REAL STORY here is that the people who have worked with McClintock the most, who know him best AND his ability to project his ideas effectively to get things done, are NOT, absolutely NOT, supporting McClintock. To me, that deafening silence speaks volumes about what he could accomplish as California's next governor.
