who sez Russia has a reliable power grid????
I seem to recall not that far back when we almost had a missile exchange because the power went off in a russian missile silo and they thought it had been taken out.
not to mention that their demand is ten times less than ours...

Price the commodity or impoverish the citizen to the point they can't afford the service and you'll almost assure you'll never have demand exceed capacity.

Accually three times not 10:). See CIA factbook.
Russia inhereted the capacities of Soviet Union which was twice by population then Russia.
So Russia produces electricity more then she needs and sells it to Europe now. Second major energy business after oil.
