I had always read that Lowe was a Republican (turned republican as he matured). He was always outed on the West Wing set as the lone Republican voice. Now they're calling him a Democrat when he goes to work for Arnold.

I had heard the same thing...I think I saw him on Leno a few years back and he said something along the lines of.."if you're 21 and a Republican you have no soul, but if you're 35 and a Democrat, you've lost your mind"...or something like that.

Maybe there's hope!

I'm back from googleland and I key worded Rob Lowe and Republican and I didn't find any evidence that he has "matured" into a Republican.
