call me a naive but I think NYC has been spared this because 9-11 knocked the wind out of the opportunists sails a bit....hopefully it will last the nite.

G-d forbid it was LA.

Still...I'm sure more sophisticated robbers are doing some serious RECON right now.

I bet 47th st is locked up tight as a drum with reams of security.

9/11 gave NYers a better perspective on life, compared to others.

I enjoyed watching them on all the networks failing to take the bait from reporters to act hysterical.

I'm quite proud, in fact, big time proud so far of the citizens in the blackout area.

I am finding very few reports of unrest.

If this holds, it only tells me that the american people are prepared to confront anything thrown at them, be it terrorism or natural event.

What a strong Country we have, I only hope our politicians don't squander that strength.
