NOTE: I am trying to set up a Freerepublic.com table on short notice.
Freeper Gov. Huckabee has attended this event in the past. His schedule may conflict with this year, but have not heard yet.
Last year, I went and won $50.00 cash!.....making my net investment in the banquet a positive (+) $25.00!
The 2001 banquet, I won a free beer.
The 2000 banquet, I won the grand prize (Kimber Pro CDP Custom .45, Benelli Super Black Eagle, Sako .270, and a Ruger 10/22)
That makes a net PROFIT for the last 4 banquets I have attended over $3000.00.
Did I mention beer?
I hope to see you all there for this great event for a great cause!

I was at on in Lansing a couple of years back.
They are fun events, but it's REAL easy to burn a hole in your wallet.

They are fun events, but it's REAL easy to burn a hole in your wallet. LOL, The night I won the grand prize, it took an hour to call out all the winners. I didnt win ANYTHING! I mean, you will win a certificate here, a coupon there, a beer can holder, t shirt, etc, but I was kinda peeved that I won NOTHING...and I was on my way out the door when the announcer said, "Ok folks, this is it, for the big table for the Kimber, Benelli, Sako, and Ruger...."
I stood there and dug in the bottom of my pocket and pulled out the little pink grand prize ticket, and wouldn't you know it, he called out my number. I couldnt believe it.
I had had quite a number of beers and sobered up real quick when I realized I had just won $3,000.00 worth of nice guns :)...the best thing about it was that I had an Arkansas Concealed Handgun Licence, and was able to take them home ASAP.
Hope people can make it down.
