How bad was the SS? When George Patton's troops caught up with any of them-they just could not manage to take a single one prisoner. George was a very compasionate man-really. I read the most excruiatingly detailed bio-by a real Army man. His problem was in getting any of them to surrender-his men just could not manage to get 'em alive. Funny thing. Kurt was so sweet.
