This is unprecedented - that tells me it's way more than an "overload". The whole eastern seaboard is out.

Boston, Miami and Washington still have power so the whole eastern seaboard is not out.

...and don't forget CA. It wasn't terrorism that knocked us off line repeatedly last summer and winter. In Sonoma County we still have periodic outages.

Another reason for the nervousness in some is that the drip, drip, drip of liberal/Dem contenders for President saying we are vulnerable has eroded their confidence in our security systems.

Personally I think Hillary pulled the switch - Bush was getting too much play on the Hambali capture today. :)
