NYC Looks surreal without the lights on and the sun setting.

NJ/NY FREEPERS .... SOMEOME PLEASE TAKE SOME PICS OF A NEW YORK WITHOUT LIGHTS ..... this would make a great photo essay

Might be a good night for New Yorkers to catch a glimpse of Mars:

"Mars has been putting on quite a show in the evening sky for the past month - for anyone who looks up. Just look to the southeast a little after sunset and you will see what all the fuss is about.

For the next few days, Mars will be rising between 8:45 pm and 9:45 pm local time in the southeast. (The actual rise time depends on your location.) It will be the brightest object in that region of the sky and its reddish/orange color will make it easy to spot. Without a telescope, you won't be able to see the disk of the planet or any surface markings, but it is still worth watching as it gets brighter over the next few days."
