Concur...I used to live in Charleston, SC...Hurricane Hugo goes a long way to straightening out your concept of how resilient our infrastructure is. I would say 3 days is low...

I keep a month’s worth of food and supplies at home. The 3 days is just to get me home in a worst case scenario.
