What? G.W. was the Repub candidate. How could a vote for G.W. be a vote for Al Gore? Maybe you mean the primary? In fact Dems were told by their party to vote for McCain in the primary-he was the preferred Repub candidate in Dem circles. In Georgia, Repubs supported Bush.

Not saying you should vote for anyone. All I am saying is say Isakson runs in Georgia for the Senate. I have to vote for him because the Senate balance is in play. I may
have to vote against a pro-life Dem who believes in the 2nd amendment. I don't like Johnny; he is pro-choice and also believes in limited gun control. Hopefully, he will not win the primary. I voted for Spector in PA-when I live there-not the Dem running against him. There are times when you must vote for less than perfect candidates. I am not saying this is true in CA-don't know. As another poster pointed out to me, electing RINOs in state elections has not helped New York, CA (thus far) or Illinois. LOL

These people said in the GOP primary, that if Republicans voted for Bush in the primary, Gore would win in the general election.

Arnold should fire Buffet if it is true he wants to raise property taxesThat assumes he is against them. His chief policy advisor is a Prop 13 opponent. CA is between a rock and a hard place since the courts struck down prop 187
That is not necessarily the final answer. Gray Davis chose not to appeal that, but the next governor could.

Of Course voters should be won over.Which is my point. Many here think anyone who does not support Schwarzenegger immediately, without reservation, is a scoundrel. So far, he hasn't tried to win us over. But their are many signs that make us nervous.

All good points, but I still won't vote for a Republican who is a RINO. Principles matter.
good luck in your state!

I don't think that. I think Arnold has a duty to explain his views.
