Thanks for the post.Speaking of newspapers,can anyone name a newspaper in Texas that is at least fair and balanced and has a conservative lean in the editorial page?I'd like to visit their website!

Fifteen years or so ago, Dallas had two papers: the Times Herald and the Morning News. The former was liberal, and the latter conservative. Since the Times Herald's demise, the Morning Snooze has raced to fill the liberal vacuum.

There may be more but after reading just about every paper in Texas the only one I've found is the Tyler Morning Telegraph (http://www.tylerpaper.com).

40 years ago when I was there we held the county Republican meetings in a phone booth. I don't get up there much anymore but as far as I can tell it's one of the most conservative areas of a state that's been trending that way for 30 years.

Good luck finding one, but definitely stay away from the Austin American Statesman.
