I agree. Those promoting the cause find it easier to limiting the reaction to implied religious bigotry rather than a general socital, gut level disgust for their behavior.

Yes, that is really it. Especially I think among men contemplating male homosexuality. I think this is something a lot of liberal men lie about.

I cannot imagine that people in general will EVER accept homosexuality as on any kind of par with heterosexuality. I also think it will become less "trendy" and fade from the scene. I think the homosexuals think this too, hence their ever increasing, ever more blatant move at "recruitment".
