Listen, it'd be better if I went on and on and explained all my process in thinking on this, maybe. But instead, let me put it this way.
You've made a good case (and far more could be said) that Schwarzetc. isn't ideologically the governor we'd dream of having.
That IS NOT the same as saying he's not the man we should support.
Put it one more way. IF THE POLLS HOLD anything like they are now, there are two men who might win the office. One is Bustamonte, a Democrat. The other is Schwarzetc., a Republican.
Which one EVEN might be EVEN a little better than the other?
One last way.
Presidential election coming up, and statewide elections as well. Would it be better for the GOP to have a newly-elected Demo as Governor, or a Republican?
Honest answers?
Dan

One is Bustamonte, a Democrat. The other is Schwarzetc., a Republican. Which one EVEN might be EVEN a little better than the other? *sign* please think this through. Are you anticipating AS in being able to solve the crisis? Would he be better than Cruz... absolutely? Will he know how to fix the web of deceit and corruption? Not a chance if he's choosing buffoons like Buffet to be his Econ Advisor (laugh).
So where does this leave the GOP? Momentum? Consensus? Nope. Total disaster, that's where. This is the Republicans getting "their guy" and blowing it, on an epic scale. It doesn't even have to be that the debt grows from -$38.2, AS could veto every spending increase and it stablizes, but stabalizes isn't good enough as I've demonstrated (LOANS) and he will get the lion's share of the blame.
A better question is, when AS can't fix it, do you HONESTLY expect the media to cover it fairly?
