[history]
August 13, 2003 -- CELEBRITY shoplifter Winona Ryder is taking up the cause of the West Memphis Three, a trio of death-row inmates convicted of murdering a young boy in a Satanic ritual. On Sept. 6, Ryder will host "Cruel and Unusual Punishment," an art show benefiting the killers' legal defense fund, at the Sixspace Gallery in L.A. The exhibition includes artwork by Marilyn Manson and a lecture by former Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra. The trio will be the focus of an upcoming movie starring Michael Pitt, Ricki Lake, Jason Lee and Michael Madsen.

How can people so totally confuse good from evil? The people supporting this are sick.

I just have one question. From where did she steal the art?

Everytime I think I can't respect Wynnona Ryder less, she does something else really stupid.
To: southern bale
Isn't she on probation and doesn't that preclude her from associating with known felons?
I wonder if she's personally met with the murderers...
To: I still care
Everytime I think I can't respect Wynnona Ryder less, she does something else really stupid. In a strange way I feel sorry for her. I read once she was raised by hippies and her godfather is Timothy Leary. No wonder she's screwed up. She is the poster child for what happens to kids raised by the far left.

Here's a piece of art she might want to display:

How pathetic can these A-Holes get?

Will they show pictures of the mutilated body of the poor little boy those monsters killed? Yeah, right, sure, uh huh.

What is it with these Hollywood types and their affinity with stone killers on death row? It's downright perverse.
I never even think about death row unless an execution is in the news. And 99 times out of 100 the execution appears warranted.

Hmmmm. Another reason for me to protest this b(leep).
When this happened, the entire area was aghast at what happened to the three kids, and how they were violated and murdered. And, since a jury by their peers convicted them of murder and sentenced them to death row, why is this liberal scum sticking up for their rights? Oh, that's right: she's a liberal, and she prefers to kill innocent babies and keep alive convicted murderers.
GailA & CB, what's your thoughts?
