Yes, Wecht or someone like that might well look foolish (to a jury of normal intelligence, oh please God, not an OJ-style jury) if contadictory statements by him are played directly after his direct testimony!

As for Lee, I think he's so slippery, he never seems to really say much of anything substantial on TV--so it'd be hard to find a contadictory statement. I bet you the minute Lee gets his first call to appear as a talking head concerning a case like this, he's probably already thinking in terms of "what can I say tonight that won't come back and contradict me if one side hires me?"

You know what I remember of Lee's testimony in the OJ trial? He's standing up in front of some board and splashes some red substance on the board and says "All I can say is sumzing wrong, bluh spattr wrong"!! What the hell?
