IDF destroys home of suicide bomber, arrests 7 in West Bank

The Israel Defense Forces destroyed the home of the suicide bomber who was responsible for yesterday's attack in Rosh Ha'ayin which murdered Yechezkiel Yakutieli and wounded 10 others, a military source told The Jerusalem Post.

The terror bomber, who was a member of Fatah, came from Nablus.

The IDF said that "demolishing the houses of terrorists is a message to suicide bombers and their partners that their actions have a price that will be paid by all those involved in hostile terrorist activity."

"The IDF will continue to use all available legal means to strike at terrorists, their handlers, and all those who assist them," an IDF statement said.

Security forces continued anti-terror operations last night in the West Bank with Special Forces, Paratroopers and troops from the Nachal brigade arresting 2 Hamas members in Ein Al Bida, 2 suspected terrorists in Tamon and captured 3 wanted men in Nablus.

Raanan Gissin, spokesman for Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, spoke this morning of the lack of PA action against terrorist infrastructure.

"Yesterday's attacks just illustrate that no cease-fire can substitute for fulfilling the commitments made by the PA for implementing the road map," Gissin told The Jerusalem Post.

"We have had 10-15 terror warnings a day. Our security forces, not theirs, have prevented over 200 terror attacks from taking place during the cease-fire. It is time for Abu Mazen (Abbas) to decide who is control of the Palestinian Authority - those who seek the total destruction of Israel or those who sincerely desire peace, security and prosperity."

Gissin said the government is making goodwill gestures every day, but the PA rewards it by complaining it is not doing enough, while allowing the terrorists to rearm themselves and plan more attacks.

"The situation cannot and will not remain like this for much longer - either Mazen acts against terrorism or we will," he said.

Sadly it seems, the US, on the other hand, intends on turning a blind eye and continuing its roadmap (suicidal) plan for Israel.

Powell: Peace Process Will Not Be Stopped by Bombs

This is has even worse consequences then the Oslo War (which claimed 1200 Israelis from 1993-2003) during the Clinton administration.

That's still being too nice about it. One possibility: Whenever anybody does one of these islamic suicide things, pack his body or whatever's left of it and the body of a pig in a barrel and drop the barrel from 30,000' into that big green colloseum or whatever it is in Mecca with the guy's name painted on the barrel, and tell the whole world that whenever this happens, Allah will know who has caused his holy site to thus be profaned.

Too bad they can't destroy their homes before they do the suicide bombing. Maybe offer generous rewards to informers.

Well, that's just it. There really is no price to pay for terrorism. Not when the U.S. sends money to rebuild, and prisoners end up being released.

If anything, the more terrorism, the more concessions. And the terrorists know it.

I think it's interesting to note that Fox modified the headline on their website to read "Israelis Demolish Homicide Bomber's Home." It's extremely rare for the media to use the term "homicide bomber", which is what they really are, as opposed to "suicide bomber". Gotta give Fox credit.
