This is what he gets for going to the gloria stienhiem regional medical center what the hell was he thinking ;-)

He could file a suit under another name in
a case like this and keep the his name of
the headlines and the knowledge that
this happened just between him, his wife,
the doctors and the lawyer?
Why does he come on TV to tell the whole world
he had penis cut off?!

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation reported in 2001 that 95 percent of doctors have witnessed a major medical mistakeLooks like the guy who had his johnson removed just might need a wood johnson....

Did you see him on TV?
Somebody should post his picture.
I know I should not say it but, after
seeing him I suspect his wife is not nearly
as upset as he is!

"I know someone who had the same thing happen to a lung. oops. sorry." At least with a missing lung you can still breathe. ;-)

While this story lends itself to sophomoric humor, I can't imagine how I would feel if it had happened to me.
I am pretty sure I would be suicidal, to say the least.

Medical "error" is common. Maybe it's because medicine is too complicated, or maybe because we expect too much from doctors. Or maybe there are just a lot of incompetents in the industry that don't get weeded out for some reason.
My philosophy on medicine is quite simple: Doctors will kill you and hospitals are where you go to die. Avoid both if you want to be healthy and have a long life.
I've heard that medical malpractice kills more people in this country than firearms, anyone know if it's true?

Dr. Rache Simmons, a breast cancer surgeon with Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, said that there are steps that patients can take to protect themselves. The thing that galls me about this article is that the last few paragraphs make it seem like the patient's fault.

penis....scalpel....anesthesia...there's something not quite right about this mixture.
Movie scene...Clint Eastwood, in the barber's chair, with his revolver drawn under the bib, barber with a straight razor to his neck:
"We're not going to hurt each other...are we?"

My wife had to hold my hand in the bed there. And she said 'Honey it's over. They got all the cancer.' And she waited a few minutes and then said 'But they had to remove your penis.' And I was one mad dude, you know," It appears, his hand, will be all his wife will be holding for the foreseeable future! ;-)

Quite the cut-ups, those doctors....

I hear about as much lack of compassion on this site as I
would expect to hear on a far left liberal site. Everyone
is not plugged in to this culture's media hyped definition
of "beautiful" or handsome. There are plenty of people
married to those that you or I might define as "ugly", but
they love this person who may have been a loyal and
supportive partner for many years. Hard work and the years
tend to take their toll on even the most "beautiful" in
youth. There is not one thing "funny" about this tragic
situation. This is the type of asinine medical mistake
that happens all too often because of the cavalier attitude
people have allowed from the godlike status of to a great
extent greedy doctors and medical professionals.

What's really unnerving is the suspicion that this was a pilot program for Hillary's Clintoncare II. >:o
