RE 53?

Try telling that to a parent who has lost a son to AIDS having contracted AIDS as a teenager. Do you think it hurts any less because he happened to be gay? Or possibly twice as much? Do you think they will feel it is ok not to try and find cures for this horrible disease? Or, would they feel no problem - just let nature take its course and handle it for society?

Oh, by the way - I don't believe the statistics that more is spent on AIDS than other major diseases. I feel that much money has been spent over the years on cancer, heart disease and all other diseases as is natural when people are trying to find cures to prevent the loss of loved ones.

Oh, and I'm still waiting for society to bring about a change in the morals of today. Still waiting for the media to quit promoting "living together without marriage".

Wonder if all these young people will just hold off their sexual escapades until we can get society to turn away from promiscous behavior and delay sex until marriage, gays to quit having sex altogether. Maybe we as parents can find ways to convince these young people.
