Alice Williams, GOP Candidate for Allegheny County Clerk of Courts, will be having a reception on Thursday August 14th, 2003 between 5:30 and 7:30 pm at the JM Galleries, 5508 Walnut Street, Shadyside PA (In Pittsburgh).

Alice is running for Clerk of Courts to modernize the office by looking for efficiencies and savings by consolidating the row office system. Alice will hire based on employee knowledge and their ability to do the job, not patronage where people hired are hired just because they know someone in office.

Alice has over 25 years experience in the private and public sectors. Alice worked for a large Pittsburgh area company providing project management support and marketing services. Alice was a five year elected school board director where she promoted positive education reform. Alice founded 21st century Learning Laboratory to improve the education of area youth. Alice is a YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh training instructor volunteer, church volunteer, and mother of 2 children. Alice also holds a masters degree in organizational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Geneva College.
