HST, no deal! I am not willing to trade the income tax/IRS slavery for the slavery of socialized medicine.

I have seen that monstrosity at work, and the fools who think "FRee medicine" will work should do their homework, i.e., the Canadian and British "Free medicine" schemes are disasters.

I'm just saying that politics seems to always be about getting half a loaf. Getting rid of the IRS is a big half a loaf - socialized medicine would be the corresponding other half, in real political terms perhaps.
