Isn't it quite telling that on a so-called "conservative" website so few have participated in this thread?
Whereas a thread about the battle of the sexes or some other salacious post garners hundreds of responses in day!
This is why the US is so screwed-up...not enough thinking adults around to make a difference...

I think if Bush gets a second term, he does have major changes in mind regarding the income taxes, and the time may be right for the elimination of income tax and substitution with a sales tax. That would also make it much harder for politicians to raise taxes, because people see exactly how much they are paying every time they buy something, unlike when they do it as withholding.
