I'm still supporting Tom McClintock at this point, but if it appears he has no chance of winning in October, I'll cast my ballot for Arnold.

Obviously you are for MC, however you are intellegent enough not to throw your vote away. Why can't you hardline, extreme, all- or- nothings- in- a- heartbeat get a clue, and be reasonable.

Thank God! It's nice to have somebody, like me, who would perfer a more conservative candidate, but is a realist.
If McClintock looks like he has a good chance come Oct, by all means vote for him, but I'm doubting thats going to be the case. Then, go for Arnold. I agree wholeheartedly.

I'd (figuratively) give my right arm for McClintock to be elected. There is absolutely no way that is going to happen. Your pragmatism has been sorely lacking from the party, and I applaud it.

(Simon had his chance. McClintock can't win.)

Sounds like a sensible plan, to me.
I just don't think any politician would have a ghost of a chance of cleaning house
AS MUCH AS Arnold has by virtue of his personality, his goals, his attitudes AND PERHAPS PARTICULARLY because of his personna and the support people will give him because of his personna. That's a LOT of effective influence currancy, IMHO.
