I like this picture:

One reason- when our preemie was born, I went to the gift shop in the hospital and bought a little stuffed dog- Yappers. We placed the dog with our little one in her isolette, and it moved with her to her warming bed. When we came home, it was placed in her bed, and when she moved to a "big-girl" bed a couple of years ago, I put it at the top of her headboard. It is still watching over her. I was thinking just the other day that I am going to make a special effort to make sure that dog stays with her always. When she gets married or leaves home, I am going to make sure (somehow) that it still watches over her.

My Nana loves the story you just told about your daughter and her puppy! Thank you for sharing it with us. And please give her a special hug from another Freeper family!

This is Nana's favorite birthday picture of me too. I know that my family will make sure my "Puppy" is always near also. He even went to the hospital with me when I had my second operation.

Thank you for always being there for me.

God bless .....

Logan

My son was born with paralyzed vocal chords which required a tracheaotomy to be inserted in his throat when he was one month old.
He didn't have a puppy, but he had a little multicolored blanket, which he named, "Inkie", when we removed the tube at two years old.
He still has a little corner of that blanket, and he's 39 years old.

I have no doubt that Logan's puppy will be with him the rest of his life, just as Yappers will be with your daughter.
Precious memories.....
